Beko launches in Australia; available at E&S Trading!

Michael Goadby Rob Sinclair Beko launch
A new kid is in town and it is arriving soon at E&S Trading! European appliance brand Beko will be a force to be reckoned within the local appliance market when it launches in January next year. Showcasing 62 products across six categories, Beko launched in Melbourne last night to a group of excited retailers including staff from E&S Trading's five showrooms.

The introduction of the brand to Australia has been spearheaded by Michael Goadby, former CEO of Fisher & Paykel (pictured above, left, with E&S Trading's Rob Sinclair). He positions the brand within the same "affordable" appliance category as Whirlpool, Westinghouse and Fisher & Paykel.

Beko launch MelbourneWhile it is new to our shores, you may be interested to know that Beko actually started out in the early '90s and currently ranks as the third brand in Europe. In the UK, it is the number one supplier of fridges, freezers and washing machines. Overall, it is the second largest home appliance brand in the UK!

"We are the last major manufacturer to enter the Australian market," Goadby said.

Beko have also adopted green-thinking in the design of their products. Each product has been created to be energy efficient and recyclable. The production processes to produce these products support the company's commitment to reducing their carbon footprint and environmental impact.

With 62 products ready to hit the E&S Trading showroom floor, Beko will initially offer products across six categories: dishwashers, refrigerators, ovens, cooktops, front-load washing machines and dryers. These products will be available from E&S Trading from early next year, so make sure to keep an eye out!

Hi.

I just saw your washing machines for the first time in Bing Lee. They look very competitively priced, and the quality checks out via online research.

I was a little dissapointed that the front door does not open to a full 180 degrees as Bosche does. I hope that this changes in the future. Otherwise This will be the machine for me I think.

Oh and also, in Australia front loading machines are less popular than top loaders, and the often wanted "plinth stand" to raise the hight of the machine is ridiculously priced at $240.oo.

I mean you can buy a small washing machine for that price and the stand is a box with no machinery.

My point is, if you want market penetration, throw in a stand for free for anyone who buys, or has bought in the past 12 months..me : ) The wholesale on those would be negligable.
